Presented release of a specialized Linux-distribution Tails (The Amnesic Incognito Live System) 0.18, based on the Debian package base and designed to provide anonymous access to the network.
Distribution formed as Live-system enabling of the box to ensure the maximum level of security and anonymity. When booting from USB-drive mode is supported for saving user data between runs distribution. The size of the boot iso-image (torrent) 861 MB.
The distribution is a typical set of network applications such as Firefox and Pidgin. Anonymous output provided by the system Tor. All connections, except for traffic through the network of Tor, are blocked by default packet filter. To store user data are encrypted using TrueCrypt. There is protection from the analysis of residual data in the computer’s memory – during shutdown or when removing the media, the entire memory is cleared.

The second major new feature is support for automatic installation of additional packages selected by the user before the start of each session, and they are updated when a network connection. In addition, updated the browser Iceweasel 17.0.5 with additional patches from the project TorBrowser to ensure anonymity, and such additions as HTTPS Everywhere 3.2 and NoScript 2.6.6.1-1.
